Cleaning house

Having got itself into a self-righteous tizz over behaviour issues within political and public sector circles, the Beeb looks distinctly uncomfortable about having to deal with yet more of its own.

The corporation insist that John Linwood, who was behind a failed £100 million digital project has not been scapegoated. MPs feel differently and will be asking questions next month. There is also the matter of why Newsbeat editor Rod McKenzie has been given a sideways move into radio despite more than 30 complaints about him for bullying.

Added to court-room revelations of how celebs and notables have been allowed to do pretty much as they like in the past, Auntie should perhaps be a litre less strident about the state of other people's houses and more scrupulous about cleaning her own.

  1. A *litre* less strident? Are you suggesting that Auntie is a noisy drunk? :-)
