Slight research glitch detected at BBC Wales who quote the Victorian Society with this on-line story published earlier in the week about how the nation's heritage needs protection.
Among those Welsh buildings apparently nominated for the "at-risk" list is Libanus Chapel in Swansea which was demolished in January this year after a fire. There are several other local anomalies but one that really stands out is the suggested effort needed to safeguard the Slip Bridge. This structure was removed from its supports and re-sited on the foreshore in 2004.
We suppose they mean well.
