The inevitable political undertones have begun to emerge as pressure mounts on the "appropriate authorites" to dump Naz Malik, the embattled chief executive of the All Wales Ethnic Minority Association (AWEMA).
The list of trangressions included in a 'confidential' internal report presented to the charity's board appear to constitute gross misconduct and highlight that suspension is warranted. Yet the most noticeable activity has been how a number of individuals have very quickly distanced themselves from matters.
From what we hear, one or two of those demanding an enquiry were only recently backing a major funding application by the racial equality group.
It could all get very messy.

They did manage to suspend the whistle blower - the financial guy I think. No reticence there.
