One of the more pointless pieces of news published today is that Nick
Clegg apparently thinks the death of Colonel Gaddafi sends out “huge signals”
to other dictators. How incredibly astute.
Pity that he wasn’t as up on things when events started kicking off in
Libya. If memory serves, at a time when hundreds of British nationals were struggling to return
home, he managed to‘forget’ that he was
running the country in Cameron’s absence.
