According to a local Swansea newspaper, True Wales claim that only one in thirty people they asked during a city centre survey were actually in favour of additional powers for the Welsh Assembly.
Jonathan Wilson, a volunteer with the True Wales group, and who claims the ''no'' campaign is based at grassroots level, said people in Swansea felt let down by the Welsh Assembly Government's decision to switch neurosurgery from Morriston Hospital to Cardiff. He added that although former Welsh Secretary Ron Davies said the running of the Assembly would cost £19 million a year it was now costing over £400 million a year to operate. Of course, he (Ron Davies) also once claimed to be looking for badgers – thus proving that you pretty much get what you pay for.
It is a reasonable assumption that the Yes crowd will be issuing rebuttals forthwith but for the time being, we suggest that Mr Wilson has a word with the local paper’s website which seems to be implying that he is a convicted burglar. (They have since removed the link)

Another costly retraction for Wales' best selling regional newspaper?
To be fair, the OTHER Mr Wilson returned the stolen goods with a card of apology....
UPDATE:
One person who won't be playing Assembly Games this spring is Rockin Rene Kinzett. He was fingered by a retired colonel for the tory swansea west nomination.
Yes i was puzzled by mr wilson's claims as yes supporters were also in the city centre on saturday and saw no sign of mr wilson or true wales!
In fact i was contacted by a reporter from the evening post on saturday afternoon to enquire if i knew where TW were as the reporter had not been able to find them anywhere in swansea city centre - where they claimed in their statement the night before they would be! So i think we can take their 'one in 30 claims' with a very heavy dose of salt!
Perhaps TW are putting in night shifts in swansea city centre!

I was unfortunate enough to bump into 'True Wales' on Saturday. There was four of them and it looked like a train spotters day off.
Disappointed that the Evening Post just published TW's line because lets be honest Swansea is not going to vote no.
