The voice of experience

It will interesting to see if anyone else picks up on the delightful irony of councillor, AM and commissioner Peter Black questioning how someone else can effectively hold down a number of representative roles.

How ironic indeed.

The original "Two Jobs" making a comment on Alun Cairns dual roles and going on to say that his actions are abandoning the the people of Swansea, N&PT and Bridgend.

Two Jobs Black should know all too well about the effectiveness of being able to hold down 2 jobs. In fact he could only manage to turn up for 12 out of 18 full Swansea council meetings last year.

The rest of his attendance records make just as bad reading:
* Children & Young People Scrutiny Board - 7 out of 10 meetings attended
* Area 1 Development Control Committee - only managed 3 out of 29 meetings
* Planning Commitee - totally couldn't be bothered with this and turned up for none of the meetings.

His overall attendance for all meetings he is expected to be at during 2009-10 is a crappy 34% (22 out of 64).

People in glass houses, Peter. You should know better.
