Perspective

Swansea Labour councillors, interviewed for an article on a local kid’s road safety scheme, could not figure out how a lifesized cardboard cut-out of Lib Dem opportunist Peter May had somehow managed to appear in the accompanying photo.

It later transpired that the parliamentary wanabee had actually turned up in person and slipped into the pic uninvited - but ended up getting distorted by the camera lens.

According to those present, no-one really noticed the difference.
.
Update: We are assured that May was invited.

Hi, I just stumbled upon you blog...while I was surfing for a site with some common sense...I am certainly not going to find that on this blog...I have never read such a load of rubbish in my life...I can tell you...That as one of the people in the photograph with Peter May...( Tony Roper)...That Peter May was Invited, and he well deserved to be there in the photo...Peter May has never missed a meeting of MATCHO: Mayhill and Townhill Community Housing Association...and he sometimes turns up at the Hill PACT meeting...as part of his electoral ward covers parts of Townhill...He is also Cabinet Member for Housing...and he is accessible to the community...and he is not afraid to give his home number out to anyone...Peter May has integrity and I don’t think he would use anonymity to say what he needs to say...like whoever you are....get a life or do some work for your community.

Tony Roper.

Funny, I thought that May was outed by Rene Kinzett as one of the anonymous contributors to the defunct Lib Dem Swansea Phoenix blogsite.
