Pavement politics

Oh dear. It seems that the Lib Dems have gone back to talking rubbish again – albeit a bit selectively. But the reality is that they can’t even attempt a clean up without causing a controversy.

Having been in office for nearly three years, you'd think that they might have actually made some improvements by now instead of still talking about it.

Could it be something to do with the cuts they made in last years street cleansing budget?

Update: This blog has been accused of fiction when mentioning budget cuts (which is pretty rich when you consider the accusers). But what else would you call a £148,000 'saving' made for 2006/7?
