Having already commented on how the Lib Dims have politically screwed up by creating a needless controversy over the childrens home, it’s fascinating to see how their passable media skills are now deserting them as well.Whatever dubious moral ground Holley thought he might try to claim in this shabby business, he is unlikely to hang onto it by shooting the messenger – and especially one that is on the lookout for a brand new 'peoples campaign'.
His 'contribution' might be a bit more credible if his own regime hadn't recently cut such a substantial swathe through the council's community regeneration budget.
(Which makes you wonder who was left to write the letter for him).
Update: Out of touch? Hmm. We suggest they read the letter again - if only to check which councillors are criticised and which aren't. Could the explanation be that the debate which so outraged the LIC spinners stemmed from a petition by Blaenymaes residents themselves?
